We are currently hiring Landscape Maintenance Crew Members, Landscape Gardeners, a Lead Horticultural Specialist, and a part-time Administrative Assistant for the 2025 season.

The primary responsibilities include client communication, maintaining task lists, and helping streamline workflows to increase overall efficiency and productivity.
This is a part-time, primarily remote position with occasional in-person requirements. Hours are flexible, with an initial expectation of approximately 10 hours per week, increasing as the assistant becomes more familiar with company operations and can take on additional tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communications
Monitor and respond to company voicemails, emails, and website inquiries.
Schedule new client appointments and quotes.
Communicate client needs and concerns to the appropriate staff members.
Assist the owner in managing calls and texts to the company’s direct line.
Maintain the client service record (CSR) and develop systems for targeted email communications.
Workflow Operations
Maintain and update the owner’s to-do list.
Set up consistent check-ins to review tasks and track progress.
Assist in scheduling and maintaining calendars for sold jobs and project timelines.
Help move clients through the sales process, from scheduling initial appointments to follow-up after quote delivery, and final job scheduling.
Assist with preparing quotes, sourcing materials, ordering job-related deliveries (e.g., mulch, dirt, plants), and calling in utility locates.
Monitor job hours and notify relevant staff when attention is needed.
Track pending and overdue invoices; ensure timely follow-up and inclusion on the to-do list. Set up and oversee incremental invoicing for large projects.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the care and maintenance of plants, trees, and outdoor spaces as part of a comprehensive property care plan. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute the care of plants and trees across client properties
Maintain flower beds by pruning, weeding, watering, and mulching
Monitor plant health and diagnose issues, implementing solutions to support plant growth
Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges using hand tools or powered equipment
Plant flowers, trees, and other landscape features as needed
Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides as appropriate
Identify irrigation issues and perform basic repairs or notify supervisor
Coordinate with additional crews for larger or specialized maintenance needs
Operate powered lawn equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) safely and efficiently
Communicate with clients professionally when needed
Use mobile technology to track time, record notes, and communicate with supervisors
Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and property issues to supervisor
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods
Basic understanding of plant and tree care principles
Comfortable using hand tools and powered landscape equipment
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in landscaping, horticulture, or groundskeeping
Familiarity with basic irrigation systems and repairs
Experience using digital tools or mobile apps for work tracking
Certifications in pesticide or herbicide application (if applicable in your area)

Required Qualifications:

3 years experience of full-time landscape maintenance with a firm focused on residential service
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to lift 50+ lbs., bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods
Ability to obtain NC Pesticide License within 1 year of employment
Basic understanding of plant and tree care principles
Comfortable using hand tools and powered landscape equipment
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years experience of full-time landscape maintenance with a firm focused on residential service
NC Pesticide License
Familiarity with basic irrigation systems and repairs
Experience using digital tools or mobile apps for work tracking
